A paraffin gauze dressing that soothes and protects the wound and allows free passage of exudate while maintaining shape and resists fraying.
Grassolind can be combined with topical medication of choice.
Grassolind® gauze dressings are made of an open weave cotton cloth, impregnated with non-medicated paraffin with no sensitizing effects in prolonged use. They are therefore especially indicated for the treatment of wounds in dermatology and in the treatment of patients with sensitive skin or sentivities to certain medication.
The non-medicated ointment dressings are permeable to air, allows exudate to pass through easily and can be cut to size. The thick layer of ointment mass is not washed away even where high levels of exudate exist.
